 The 2007 BI-LO Charity Classic surpassed last year’s record-breaking $5.5 million by raising over $5.6 million dollars in the 24th annual golf event. These funds will be distributed to more than 500 charitable organizations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
In addition to corporate grants, individual BI-LO stores receive $1000 from tournament proceeds to assist a charity in their community. The stores also raised money for this charity by asking customers to add a $1 donation to their orders. With the help of their generous customers, BI-LO stores raised over $693,500 through this program.
